Bookeeper

Seeking an experienced Bookkeeper / Accounting Specialist to manage multiple clients’ books. The ideal candidate will have agency experience, maintain accurate financial records, perform month-end close tasks, reconcile accounts, prepare financial reports, and ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations. Must be comfortable handling several client files simultaneously and communicating clearly with clients and team members.

Key Responsibilities :

• Manage financial transactions : Record financial transactions, post debits and credits, and handle accounts payable and receivable.

Process payroll : Manage payroll processing, including calculations, deductions, and tax filings, staying up-to-date on relevant laws and regulations.

Perform reconciliations : Conduct monthly bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.

Generate financial reports : Create financial statements, balance sheets, and other reports to provide a clear financial picture for clients and management.

Handle client and administrative duties : Process client deposits, manage petty cash, and complete various administrative bookkeeping tasks.

Maintain records : Ensure all financial records are kept accurate, organized, and confidential. Qualifications :

3+ years bookkeeping / accounting experience, including managing multiple client books concurrently.

Strong understanding of GAAP fundamentals and bookkeeping controls.

Experience preparing month-end close, reconciliations, and financial statement generation.

Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize across multiple client deadlines.

Strong communication skills for client interactions and internal collaboration.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial data.

Experience with payroll processing, sales tax, or small business accounting a plus.
