Status : Full-Time Hourly Non-Exempt
Pay : $23.00 / Hour
Schedule : Monday-Friday 8 : 30 a.m. - 5 : 00 p.m.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Candidate Sourcing
- Update and post job descriptions on various job boards and platforms to attract qualified candidates
- Maintain updated candidate applicant information on tracking systems and maintain accurate and up-to-date records
- Conduct phone screenings to assess candidates qualifications experience and cultural fit
- Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers
- Conduct reference and background checks and ensure compliance with relevant employment legislation and regulations
- Participate in recruitment marketing initiatives to enhance the organizations reputation as an employer of choice
- Attend job fairs quarterly
Team Support
Present company policies procedures and culture during new hire orientation sessionsAssist in extending job offers and the onboarding processUpdating new hire documents as necessaryMiscellaneous
Attend staff meetings and quarterly trainingsEnhance job performance by applying up-to-date professional and technical knowledge gained by attending seminars and conferences and reviewing professional publicationsTake initiative; demonstrate strong decision-making and organizational skillsInitiate best practices; develop efficiency improvementsParticipate in special projects and other duties as assigned by your supervisorRequirements :
Education and Experience
Proficiency in applicant tracking systems and other HR-related softwareGeneral
Reliable transportation requiredA flexible work schedule including some schedule changes some weekends and evening shifts to meet the departments needsDetail-oriented and computer proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel requiredKnowledge of recruitment best practices including sourcing strategies candidate selection and employment legislationExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong organizational and time management skillsAbility to work independently and in a team environmentPhysical Requirements
Answer and respond to phone queries
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times
