During the internship you will be assigned a mentor who will assign you projects based on your area of interest along with the needs of the plant with the intent to prepare you for a career in your desired field. The internship program encompasses our core values with empowering you to unleash your potential, allowing you to take initiative on company projects, and following through to get results.
Essential Functions :
- Involved with evaluating and developing manufacturing processes by designing and conducting research programs; applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials; conferring with equipment vendors.
- Improves manufacturing efficiency by being involved in analyzing and planning workflow, space requirements, equipment layout, and workforce utilization.
- Promote and participate in shop floor workflow analysis and creating / implementation of standard work to achieve improvement priorities.
- Prepares product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends. Leadership Competencies
