Accounts payable specialist

Halco Lighting Technologies, a lighting supplier is seeking an experienced Accounts payable specialist who will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of all accounts payable transactions, invoice review, vendor account maintenance and payment execution.

Essential Job functions

• Review and verify vendor invoices for accuracy, proper coding, and compliance with company policies
• Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documents
• Enter and process invoices for payment in the ERP system
• Maintain vendor accounts, including setup, updates, and compliance documentation
• Prepare and process weekly check runs, ACH, and wire payments
• Monitor accounts to ensure timely payments and resolve invoice / payment discrepancies with vendors
• Process employee expense reports and ensure adherence to company policy
• Reconcile purchasing card statements and ensure timely resolution of variances
• Generate and distribute 1099 vendor reporting data for accuracy and compliance
• Provide support for internal and external audits by preparing schedules and documentation
