About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented

Human Resources Generalist

to join our client's team in Grand Rapids. This role offers a dynamic environment where you will support various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Onboarding :

Manage full-cycle recruitment processes, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and new hire onboarding.

Employee Relations :

Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries, addressing concerns and promoting a positive work environment.

Benefits Administration :

Oversee employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies.

Compliance & Recordkeeping :

Ensure adherence to labor laws and company policies, maintaining accurate employee records.

Training & Development :

Coordinate training sessions and professional development opportunities for staff.

Performance Management :

Assist in performance appraisal processes and support managers in employee development initiatives.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

2-5 years of experience in human resources or a related role.

Strong knowledge of HR laws and regulations.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.

Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
