HVAC Technician 2

In this fast-paced, high-energy environment where guest comfort is essential, how do we ensure our HVAC systems are kept up and running? As a HVAC Technician II, you will identify and complete assigned projects throughout the casino, and ensure all safety policies, procedures, and regulations are followed. Principal Duties and Responsibilities (

• Essential Functions)
• Service and repair all Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) equipment including but not limited to heat pumps, variable air volume boxes, air handling units, roof top units, condensers, cooling towers, pumps, chillers, boilers, heat exchangers, water heaters, water coolers, water treatment equipment, coolers, and freezers.
• Monitor and diagnose HVAC systems and equipment using computerized building automation system. Make adjustments to the building automation system to ensure guest comfort and efficient operation of mechanical equipment.
• Perform HVAC preventive maintenance, including inspections, adjustments, replacement of filters, cleaning of coils, and lubrication of units.
• Respond to and complete maintenance and repair requests in a timely, safe, and accurate manner while ensuring high levels of guest service and minimal interruption to business operations.
• Ensure maintenance tools are in proper working condition and operate equipment safely. Report any unsafe conditions to management.
• Ensure adherence with all Occupational Health and Safety Administration (OSHA) requirements, as well as the company’s safety policies, and procedures.
• Order, receive, stock, and maintain the HVAC parts inventory.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment and storage area.
• Respond to emergency calls after-hours for HVAC systems on a rotating on call schedule.
• Provide assistance to other facilities technicians with servicing and repair of all including but not limited to ice makers, walk-in coolers, freezers, refrigerators, and other related equipment.
• Perform job duties in full compliance with departmental Internal Controls, policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Working Conditions

The noise level is usually moderate to loud. When on the casino floor, the noise level increases. The facility is not smoke free. While performing the duties of this job, the team member occasionally works at heights. The team member is frequently exposed to outdoor weather conditions, wet and / or humid conditions and occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles.
