Risk and Reliability Analyst Associate
AEP is seeking talented and motivated Risk and Reliability Analyst Associate.
What You'll Do :
- Maintain the list of existing / potential risks that need to be analyzed.
- Assist in gathering, reviewing and documenting internal and external data associated with the identified risks.
- Assist in documenting the Operating Company risks per the corporate standards.
- Assist with diagnosis of trouble, mis-operation, or damage of equipment and assist with corrective action to affect repair and prevent recurrence.
- Assist in the analysis of potential and / or existing risks for the Operating Company.
- Working with the risk champions and other SME when appropriate.
- Assist in scrubbing outage data and outage analysis review process.
- Assist in gathering, reviewing, and reporting reliability performance to Operating Company leadership as needed.

Minimal travel will be required in this role (5%-10%).Must exhibit strong interpersonal skills; ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.Demonstrated ability to successfully interact with a diverse set of internal and external stakeholders is required.Demonstrated ability of providing work direction and guidance to other employees.Demonstrated ability to function as a project leader and technical expert as required.Must have a firm understanding of the risk evaluation and distribution operations process.Ability to use MS Office products to develop reports and presentations.Experience with a query tool such as Cognos, SAS, Business Objects, SQL, etc. would be a plus.Where You'll Work : Shreveport, LA
