SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Performs various maintenance functions in carpentry, plumbing, heating and air conditioning, custodial, painting, and minor electrical repair.
- Inspects air conditioning and heating units to ensure efficient operation; diagnoses electrical and mechanical malfunctions and makes necessary repairs. Install, assemble, relocates, and repairs office equipment, including clocks, appliances, and furniture.
- Does rough carpentry work associated with remodeling offices and buildings; repairs drywall, plaster, roofing, doors, and broken tiles; repairing windows, paints, stains, and patches; building and installing furniture and cabinets.
- Troubleshoots and maintains plumbing systems, toilets, faucets, and drains in building. Performs minor electrical repairs, including lighting, light fixtures, and pumps.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED :
High school diploma / GED required;Valid driver’s license required;Good communication skills;Excellent customer service skills;Being mechanically-inclined is considered an asset;Ability to lift up to 50lbs;Ability to safely use and climb ladders;Ability to work outside in a variety of weather / environmental conditions.OTHER REQUIREMENTS :
Be at least 18 years of age;Legally entitled to work in the United States;Must be able to successfully complete and pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing and other background checks necessary to obtain an airport restricted area pass.SCHEDULE : Sunday to Saturday – 8 to 10 hour shifts. Must be available to work statutory holidays as required.
