Job Description :

Contribute and adhere to the processes and standards in place for managing information technology (IT) assets, renewals, and optimizing software investments throughout their respective lifecycles.

Desired Skills :

• Maintain an accurate and up-to-date inventory of software licenses, versions, and deployments throughout the organization.
• Ensure adherence to software licensing agreements, monitor license usage, and take necessary measures to address any non-compliance issues.
• Analyze software usage patterns, identify opportunities for optimization, and implement strategies to optimize license allocation and reduce costs (ex : co-terming agreements).
• Prepare software asset-related reports and documentation, such as license entitlements, deployments, usage, and compliance status.
• Identify and mitigate software asset management risks, such as security vulnerabilities, unauthorized software usage, and potential legal implications.
• Work closely with other departments to ensure successful deployment of processes; providing communication when gaps are identified.
• Drive version control and application end of support awareness through research and analysis
• Understanding of database normalization and relationship dependencies.
• Continuously evaluate and improve software asset management processes, policies, and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Education Requirements : Bachelors

Certifications needed : ITIL Preferred
