job_description.job_card.job_descriptionContinually promotes students’ development and effective use of skills in areas such as critical and analytical thinking, evaluation, communication, professionalism, customer service, computation, problem solving, and decision-making Maintains accurate, up-to-date records of student academic and attendance performance Bachelor’s Degree in Electromechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology or related Engineering discipline Minimum of 5 years of experience in the related field or must have a Journeyman Card / License in the related field Advanced communication (verbal, written, and interpersonal) and organizational skills Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (or equivalent) Ability to assess and grade the progress of students Possess sensitivity to respond appropriately to the needs of the community Service Focus Communication Quality of Work Time Utilization Collaboration Adaptability Continuous Improvement Master’s degree in Electromechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, other related engineering discipline or Must have a minimum of five to fifteen years of experience in an appropriate area depending on educational level The work is performed in a normal, professional office or technical lab environment; The work area is adequately lighted, heated and ventilated; Typically, the employee may sit comfortably to perform the duties of the job and will perform repetitive motions with hands / fingers using a computer mouse and keyboard to type. However, there may be some walking; standing; bending; carrying of light items such as papers, files, pamphlets, books, etc.; Work may also require walking and standing in conjunction with travel to and attendance at meetings and conferences away from the worksite
