Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This position is for a Special Education Teacher supporting K12 students in a full-time, onsite role located in Dorchester, SC. The assignment is contracted through the school year, with the possibility of extension into summer or the following term. The role offers approximately 37.5 hours per week, providing consistent and meaningful engagement with students across various grade levels based on experience and availability.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to the unique needs of K12 students with disabilities.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to create inclusive learning environments.
• Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all relevant special education laws and regulations.
• Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities.
