6 West is a 36 bed unit with 8 dedicated Observation rooms for recovering patients with outpatient TR bands, blood transfusions, and other patients that are receiving tests / treatment as an observation patient. These patients are either discharged from this unit or if they need to be admitted then they are transferred to an inpatient unit.
