We are seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to join our team. This role will involve conducting technology and application solution analysis for business requirements facilitating cross-functional working sessions and ensuring accurate documentation and process flow. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background business analysis expertise and experience in Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

Job Description

As a Business Systems Analyst (BSA) you will serve as a critical link between business stakeholders and technical teams. You will analyze complex business processes translate them into system requirements and ensure solutions align with organizational goals. The Business Systems Analyst (BSA) will work closely with developers solution engineers and architects to design document and validate end-to-end solutions that drive operational efficiency and technology excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct in-depth technology and application solution analysis for business requirements.

Create flowcharts system process diagrams and data flow documentation using tools like Visio .

Interpret and analyze flat file formats and data mappings to support system integrations.

Perform detailed research to ensure accuracy and completeness of documentation .

Deliver on all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) including Waterfall deliverables.

Facilitate productive working sessions across cross-functional business and technical teams.

Apply a strong technical background to bridge gaps between business needs and IT solutions.

Utilize Agile methodologies and JIRA for sprint planning backlog refinement and task tracking.

Communicate promptly and confidently with stakeholders at all levels.

Manage multiple priorities independently while maintaining attention to detail.

Troubleshoot issues effectively and problem-solve in a structured compartmentalized manner.

Qualifications & Competencies

8 10 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst (BSA) with a focus on technology and application solution analysis.

Strong expertise in Visio flowcharting system process documentation and data flow diagramming.

Solid understanding of data mapping and flat file structures.

Hands-on experience with both Waterfall and Agile SDLC frameworks.

Excellent facilitation communication and documentation skills.

Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects independently.

Strong analytical and technical problem-solving abilities.

Experience using JIRA for Agile project management.

Responsive and detail-oriented professional approach.

Nice to Have :

Prior experience working in a Financial Institution .

Background as a Developer Solution Engineer or Architect.
