Project Coordinator

Client Services & Order Management Specialist

Element has an opportunity for a Client Services & Order Management Specialist to perform order entry of incoming test requests and other scheduled tasks under direction of Office Manager or detailed procedures. Perform technical review of client PO's to ensure compliance.

Salary : $20- $28 / hour (Depending on Experience)

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming shipments & assist with customer pickup and return of samples
• Review customer PO's, and enter work orders
• Verify that orders received include all necessary paperwork to allow for proper testing of samples
• Contact customers over PO discrepancies or to obtain additional test detail
• Serve as a point of contact for customers, assisting them with order status updates
• Distribute entered sample / material to required processing departments
• Work with Production and Laboratory personnel to expedite work
• Ensure that requirements for Subcontracting of work are met and generate required documentation, upon request
• Alert staff to expedite / rush work and follow-up on issues
• Promptly address revised PO's for work in progress by entering the new PO's into the system and communicating changes to appropriate department supervisor
• Interact with internal departments on questions or issues related to particular projects
• Assists with coordination of production, quality and process improvements
• Ensures all work is performed in accordance with company safety and quality policies and procedures and regulatory agency regulations
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor or lab management

Skills / Qualifications

This position requires access to export-controlled commodities, technical data, technology, software, and services. U.S. citizenship, U.S. legal permanent resident status, protected person status under 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or U.S. Government export authorization is required. Any offer of employment is contingent upon the employer obtaining the necessary export authorization, including, if required, an export license from the U.S. Department of Commerce's Bureau of Industry and Security, the U.S. Department of State's Office of Defense Trade Controls, or other applicable government agency.
