JOB DESCRIPTION :

• Performs technical functions supporting engineering activities.
• Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems Works from documentation, written or verbal instructions, schematics, rough sketches, diagrams, layouts, and plans often requiring interpretation and application of comprehensive knowledge and practical understanding of electronic theory and principles.
• Applications may include analog, digital, and / or video circuits and logic systems. Conducts testing in a development mode and determines methods or actions to correct malfunctions or design problems.
• Recommends modifications to engineering designs as necessary.
• May assist in the design, construction, test and checkout of test equipment.
• Normally assigned in areas such as development, engineering, test equipment, system checkout, fabrication, and the like. (It should be understood that this is not intended to be a detailed nor comprehensive description of any individual employee's job content. Managers set the specific duties and responsibilities for each employee.)
