Job Summary :

The Programmer 3 role involves working within the Secretary of State development team focusing on application development troubleshooting and testing. The position requires strong skills in Oracle Forms PL / SQL and Java along with experience in structured programming and development techniques. The programmer will participate in code reviews business process reviews and contribute to project goals within specific guidelines and time expectations.

Location : Augusta Maine United StatesnWashington District of Columbia United States

Responsibilities :

  • Developing applications using Oracle Forms.
  • Writing and maintaining PL / SQL code.
  • Working as a Java developer.
  • Troubleshooting and testing existing software.
  • Developing new software applications.
  • Participating in programming review sessions.
  • Participating in business process reviews with stakeholders and application testers.
  • Documenting development work.
  • Working as part of a project team to meet scheduled goals.

Required Skills & Certifications :

  • 5 Years in Oracle Forms development with Oracle Database.
  • 5 Years with PL / SQL.
  • 5 Years Java.
  • Knowledge of structured programming principles and development techniques.
  • Knowledge of application testing and debugging techniques.
  • Documentation skills.

    • Preferred Skills & Certifications :

  • Experience with development tools such as Toad and Subversion.

    • Special Considerations :

  • Onsite work is required.
  • Candidates must upload a current screenshot picture onto the interview request page in PDF format before the interview.
  • Vendors MUST be present at the beginning of the interview to validate their candidate.
  • State of Maine required credentials must be met and uploaded to the contractors profile prior to the first day.
  • eVerify must be completed and uploaded no later than the contractors third day of contract.

    • Scheduling :

  • 40 hours per week.
  • Work will be completed with specific guidelines and time expectations.
