About The Position

A leading facility in  Muskegon, Michigan  is seeking a  Board-Certified Locum Psychiatrist  to provide  inpatient weekday coverage  from  August 26 to September 19 . Enjoy a fully supported environment, no pediatric patients, and complimentary travel, lodging, and malpractice coverage—all while working just steps from Michigan’s beautiful lakeshore.

Position Details :

Schedule :  Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM

Optional Call :  5 PM–8 AM (unrestricted if available)

Location :  Inpatient Psychiatric Department

Patient Load :  12 patients / day

Unit Size :  27 beds

Team :  5 Psychiatrists, 6 APPs (you will supervise Psychiatric NPs)

No Pediatric Patients

EMR :  Epic

ADD / ADHD

Personality & Eating Disorders

Psychotic & Developmental Disorders

Organic Disorders

Required Familiarity With :

Involuntary Commitments

Seclusion Therapy

Pharmacotherapy

Group Therapy

Requirements :

Board Certified in Psychiatry

Active Michigan License

BLS Certification
