What you will be doing

You will be on a development pathway to guide your growth into the role of Product Development Stress Engineer I  and can expect to be involved in the following :

• Analyzing and sizing primary structure on Airbus Commercial Aircraft.
• Document analyses in support of trade studies and / or certification projects.
• Typical tools used are : Hypermesh, MS Excel, Google Suite and an Airbus proprietary analysis tool.
• In the first few months you will learn Airbus methods of sizing structure and certification documentation requirements
• You will learn the concepts of structural analysis and how to apply the concepts to structural sizing.
• Overseas placements are determined on either project need basis or employee development need.  US based rotational placements will canter on Airbus Americas Engineering locations.
• Your development pathway will include a minimum of one rotational placement to support your growth into position.
• Throughout the two year development programme you will have developed into the position of Product Development Stress Engineer I!
