Electrical Project Designer | Rock Island, IL

IMEG is seeking an Electrical Project Designer in Rock Island, IL or Des Moines, IA to help design innovative power distribution, lighting, and specialty electrical systems for a wide range of building and infrastructure projects. As an Electrical Project Designer, you'll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-performance, energy-efficient solutions for clients in industrial, government and data center sectors. You'll use industry-leading tools like AutoCAD, Revit, SKM, and AGi32 to create code-compliant, reliable electrical designs that make a real impact. Key Responsibilities :

• Lead design for electrical systems and mentor junior staff
• Research, coordinate, verify, schedule and document various design aspects
• Build, maintain, and develop client relationships
• Quickly solve problems and seek the advice of the Project Manager
• Perform services as required by the contract services agreement
• Perform electrical calculations, system design, equipment selection, reporting, BIM coordination, and progress submittals

Salary Range $83,000 - 105,000. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay will be based on several factors including experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant. Other rewards may include annual bonuses and stock ownership options.
