What the day will look like

As a Senior Technical Product Manager, you will be at the forefront of developing and delivering advanced Reinsurance Analytics applications to our analyst user base and clients. You will oversee the core analytics products that ensure accurate and efficient analytics. Success in this role requires a profound understanding of our colleagues' workflows, catastrophe modeling, reinsurance, and our clients' needs.

You will be a highly technical expert, working closely with cat modelers within Aon. As a curator of complex technical challenges, you will transform them into simple, impactful solutions for our clients and colleagues. Your curiosity and drive to become a strong subject matter expert for the products you manage will be key. You will guide ideas from early product discovery through definition, execution, and go-to-market strategies.

• Actively participate in the initial phases of projects to define application features and functionality.
• Identify and translate colleague needs into actionable requirements.
• Collaborate effectively with internal teams, including developers, engineers, architects, quality assurance, and operations, ensuring requirements are fully understood and implementation plans align with expectations.
• Stay abreast of technical trends in the industry and assess emerging products and companies to evaluate their potential impact on our business. Make informed recommendations on new technologies to invest in or leverage.
• Conduct regular competitor and capability analysis.
• Provide training to internal teams and customers on product usage.
• Address incoming inquiries about product capabilities.
• Assess and mitigate technical risks.
• Analyze data pipelines, algorithms, and automated systems.
• Serve as a product evangelist and subject matter expert within the technical / developer community.
• Coordinate beta tests and define success criteria for testing and product acceptance.
• Facilitate the creation and maintenance of comprehensive product documentation.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

Education : Bachelor's degree in Math, Statistics, Data Science, a related field or equivalent years of industry experience.

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $136,000 to $150,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.

This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon's annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
