job_description.job_card.job_descriptionThe Child Clinical Psychologist is responsible for administering psychological and neuropsychological assessments in the diagnostic center, as well as providing as-needed case management services and referrals for recommended therapies. The majority of clients are children ages 2 to 6 being evaluated for autism and related concerns. While not required, if interested, Child Clinical Psychologists can also carry a therapy caseload of individual and / or family therapy clients. maintain 10 to 12 evaluations per month (adjusted for part-time) - conduct thorough intake and feedback sessions with clients and families - review information obtained from interviews, tests, questionnaires, and records - identify psychological, emotional, and behavioral issues; diagnose disorders - oversee testing cases and consult with psychometrists regarding battery changes - write comprehensive reports based on data and observations - collaborate with other psychologists and providers regarding case conceptualization - provide resources to schools and communicate with schools / medical professionals - maintain targeted therapy caseload hours per week (if participating) This position will assess for a range of referral concerns, including autism, ADHD, developmental disorders, mood disorders, anxiety, trauma, and conduct-related conditions. The new Child Clinical Psychologist should have a passion for working with children with developmental delays.
