We’re recruiting for a hands-on Farm Operations Manager to lead livestock operations for a respected agricultural organization in the North Manchester area, near Fort Wayne, Indiana . The company offers relocation assistance for the right candidate.
This leadership role focuses on calf production and overall livestock care, overseeing 1,500–4,000 head across several nursery facilities. You’ll spend about 70% of your time in daily farm operations and 30% in administration—developing your team, monitoring performance, and ensuring top-tier animal health and efficiency.
What You’ll Do :
- Oversee daily calf and livestock operations across multiple nursery farms
- Lead, train, and schedule a dedicated farm team
- Manage calf health, nutrition, and facility performance
- Maintain safety, quality, and compliance standards
- Support research and continuous improvement projects
- Collaborate with regional livestock leadership on planning and reporting
What You’ll Bring :
