Principal Data Scientist in Epidemiology

A company is looking for a Principal Data Scientist in Epidemiology and Patient Data Products.

Key Responsibilities

Lead complex research projects in drug discovery utilizing real-world data

Provide mentorship and oversee technical team members while consulting on partner teams

Engage external partners to translate research questions into observational study designs and manage project plans

Required Qualifications

PhD in epidemiology or biostatistics with 7+ years of relevant experience (or MPH / MS with 10+ years)

Robust statistical analytic skills applicable to observational study designs

Advanced knowledge in biostatistics and machine learning techniques

Experience with data manipulation and statistical analysis in Python and / or R

Experience leading complex research projects with real business impacts
