Finance Director wanted for Olympic Area Agency on Aging (O3A) based in Port Townsend, WA.

Duties

The Finance Director oversees, supervises, and provides leadership for the budgeting, payroll, and accounting operations of Olympic Area Agency on Aging (O3A) to ensure fiscal accountability for federal, state, and local funds.  Applies principles of accounting to analyze records of operations, trends and costs, estimated and realized revenues.  Coordinates the preparation and compilation of the O3A budget, related materials and the annual State audit.

The Finance Director performs as the chief financial officer for the agency.  As a member of the Leadership Team, promotes interdepartmental collaboration and addresses organization-wide issues, including strategic planning, budget development and monitoring, program development, program oversight and problem solving.

Qualifications

• B.A. in business, accounting or related field AND four years of progressively responsible fiscal department management experience in a public, governmental or non-profit setting including two years experience in accounting procedures involving federal grants.
• Knowledge of automated accounting systems.
• Experience with government audit requirements required.
• Preferred qualification : CPA and / or M.B.A.
• Requires current WDL & insured vehicle.
