About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO) for its Defense Services business unit. The COO will be a key leader in the organization, responsible for shaping the strategic direction of the business unit, managing day-to-day operations, and driving results. This role requires a professional with a strong background in the defense services industry, capable of managing a multi-million-dollar profit and loss business, and experienced in sustaining and growing a professional services business through business development and government contracting. The successful candidate will have a startup mentality, excellent general management and leadership skills, and a relentless commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. They will also be expected to build and maintain a high-performing, diverse, and inclusive team, and to ensure that the business unit's operations align with the core operations of the company.
