Integrated Program Planner - Experienced Professional - Level 5
The Command, Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) team is looking for a highly motivated Integrated Program Planning (IPP) Lead who brings extensive Agile Release Train Engineer (RTE) expertise. The ideal candidate possesses mastery-level experience in integrated program planning and a strong passion for driving Agile Release Train (ART) events and processes that enable teams to deliver business and customer value. The core duties of this position include facilitating all Agile Release Train (ART) processes and execution, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and seamlessly blending Agile practices with program-level planning across the team. As the driving force behind the ART, you will keep the train on schedule, ensure delivery of value against Program Increment (PI) objectives, and lead coordination efforts with the C2BMC planning team.
The work as the C2BMC IPP Lead and RTE will be responsible for :
Program Increment (PI) Planning- Facilitate PI Planning : Lead and facilitate the large-scale PI Planning event, which is the cornerstone of the ART. This includes managing event logistics, guiding teams through the planning process, and ensuring alignment with business stakeholders.
Program Increment (PI) Execution- Track ART Progress : Monitor and communicate the progress of PI execution, focusing on feature completion, milestones, and PI objectives.
Facilitate ART Syncs : Lead key synchronization meetings, including the Scrum of Scrums (to manage dependencies and impediments) and the PO Sync (to ensure backlog refinement and alignment).
Manage Risks & Dependencies : Proactively identify, track, and manage cross-team dependencies and program-level risks.
Coaching & Continuous Improvement- Coach the ART : Act as a coach and mentor for Scrum Masters, teams, Product Owners, and leaders on Lean-Agile practices and the SAFe framework.
Drive Relentless Improvement : Facilitate the Inspect and Adapt (I&A) workshop at the end of each PI, where the ART identifies and addresses the root causes of its systemic problems.
Foster a Lean-Agile Mindset : Champion and model servant leadership, systems thinking, and a continuous learning culture.
Stakeholder & Program Management- Facilitate System Demos : Lead the integrated System Demo at the end of each iteration to demonstrate the ART's progress to stakeholders and receive feedback.
Communicate with Stakeholders : Serve as the primary point of communication for the ART, providing clear and consistent updates on progress, risks, and health.
Manage Program-Level Processes : Assist with managing the program's budget, resources, and governance in line with Agile principles. Key player in monthly Earned Value Management (EV) Cycle. Provides Cost Account support.

Pay Rate : The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $111,700 - $196,880. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education / training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
