The Security Officer ensures that the healthcare enterprise remains a safe place. Respond rapidly to security emergencies within the hospital or other healthcare settings while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times. Is responsible for documenting all incidents and requests for assistance within the hospital reporting platform. Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned site. Preserves order and acts to enforce regulations and policies when assistance is requested by medical staff / employees. The security officer shall support CommonSpirit Health’s strategic plan and the goals and direction of the quality improvement / process improvement activities. It is expected that the security officer will demonstrate behavior consistent with CommonSpirit Health core value and Humankindness.
