Major Responsibilities :
- Implements and coordinates community based educational programs and projects.
- Conducts ongoing needs assessments. Presents programs based on community needs for each district utilizing age specific information and documentation of teaching reflects individuation and program content.
- Selects content, teaching methods, and evaluation strategies based on expected learner outcomes.
- Designs and develops instructional materials and revises as needed.
- Measures effectiveness of program by customer feedback via written evaluation and develops corrective action for an ineffective program.
- Responsible for staffing classes, which includes identifying the need for more instructors, interviewing new candidates and coordinating orientation of new instructors.
Licensure, Registration, and / or Certification Required :
Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the team member practices, andBasic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) needs to be obtained within 6 months unless department leader has determined it is not required.Education Required :
Associate's Degree in Nursing.Experience Required :
Typically requires 3 years of experience in a registered nurse role.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required :
Proficient computer skills including keyboarding, navigation within a windows operating system, use of electronic mail.Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.Ability to develop rapport and maintain positive, professional relationships with a variety of patients, staff and physicians.Demonstrated ability to effectively make critical, independent decisions.Excellent organization, prioritization and problem solving skills.Ability to multi-task with frequent interruptions.Physical Requirements and Working Conditions :
Physical requirements include standing, sitting, and walking.Position operates a variety of audio-visual and video equipment.Must be able to lift 25 lbs box / crate from floor to waist.Must be able to lift 25 lbs box / crate from floor to waist and carry it across 50 feet.Must be able to push / pull with 30 lbs force across 50 feet.Single hand carry with 30 lbs across 50 feet to simulate carrying a mannequin.Pay Range
$32.45 - $48.70
