Content Platforms & Operations is responsible for the development and ongoing advancement of the technical and operational functions driving the worldwide distribution and monetization of Disney’s linear networks and theatrical content. This includes Disney’s media supply chain and storage, network and theatrical distribution operations, media localization, network transmission and origination, and more. The global team also plays a critical role as the primary collaboration point for Product & Technology with Disney’s EMEA, APAC, and LATAM regional business teams.

• This role is located in Bristol, CT - this is a 100% onsite position and may require relocation for candidates outside of Connecticut. There is no opportunity for remote work at this time.

The Network Origination Operator I will make use of acquired skills to operate broadcast equipment and technology within assigned operating areas to distribute live and pre-recorded programming and commercials as scheduled. They will understand & implement these items and more, including but not limited to : protocols for live programs, commercial and program log documentation, regional feeds and market protection procedures, intercom communication procedures, media transfers for specific operating conditions and any required documentation.

Our ideal candidate must be flexible with their schedule as this is a 24 / 7 operation and should expect to work nights, holidays and weekends. The ability to perform the job at hand under a tight deadline while demonstrating proven interpersonal communication skills is a must.
