Special Projects Supervisor, Telecommunications
TAK Broadband is a leading end‑to‑end U.S. fiber broadband network construction contractor operating in 42 states. We are seeking a field‑based Special Projects Supervisor to join our Operations team. The role involves overseeing on‑site installation teams, managing contractors, and ensuring successful completion of special broadband projects.
Responsibilities
Supervise installation and field teams on special projects.
Manage contractors and coordinate site logistics.
Ensure projects meet quality, safety, and schedule requirements.
Travel up to 80% of the year, depending on project location.
Requirements
5+ years of telecom / broadband experience.
2–3 years of leadership or management experience.
Proven experience with fiber optics (single‑mode and multi‑mode).
Strong understanding of MDU networking.
Proficiency in low‑voltage wiring and related systems.
Comfortable using hand tools and basic installation equipment.
Familiarity with Ruckus and / or Cambium equipment is strongly preferred.
Demonstrated ability to lead field teams and supervise projects.
Experience in troubleshooting and customer‑facing installations.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Required : valid government‑issued photo ID; driver’s license if role involves driving.
Pass all pre‑employment requirements : MVR, background check, drug screen.
Compensation and Benefits
Full‑time, paid weekly.
Annual salary : $60,000 – $70,000 (DOE).
