Description

Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Illinois Department of Corrections . We are currently seeking a full-time Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Jacksonville Correctional Center located in Jacksonville Illinois.

Salary : $23 / HOUR

The Pharmacy Technician works under the supervision of a Licensed Pharmacist. This person will aid and assist the pharmacist in assigned supervised duties in a responsible and ethical manner. They will interact with a variety of healthcare professionals corrections and administrative staff to achieve the goals of the pharmacy department and fulfill contractual requirements.

Shift : 8 am - 4 pm Monday through Friday

Qualifications

  • Completed a Pharmacy Technician training program
  • Be a high school graduate or hold a GED
  • Active / Current Pharmacy Technician Certification
  • At least one year of experience working as a Pharmacy Technician preferred
  • Experience working in corrections / behavioral health preferred
  • Knowledge of correctional healthcare principles and practices preferred; along with knowledge of applicable state and federal laws
  • Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) / BLS
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance to include drug screen and criminal background check
