Float Pool Registered Nurse - ED Boarding, Med / Surg, ICU - Night Shift
Joining our Internal Float Pool means experiencing variety and growth while working solely within one hospital. You will rotate between ED Boarding, Medical-Surgical, Telemetry, and ICU support units at Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center. Every shift will present new learning opportunities and challenges to enhance your clinical skills.

Ready to thrive in a dynamic night shift role where every shift is a new opportunity? Join our Internal Float Pool and be part of something impactful every day. You will be responsible for providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care using the nursing process, ensuring safe, therapeutic care through established standards and policies.
You will assess patient needs, implement individualized interventions, and evaluate care plans. Included in this process, you'll involve patients and families in care planning to maintain a therapeutic relationship throughout their healthcare experience.
Recognizing significant changes in patient conditions will be crucial, ensuring appropriate actions are taken swiftly. You'll collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient-centered care, enhance patient safety, and develop discharge strategies while employing evidence-based practices.
Additionally, you will engage in quality improvement initiatives, foster effective communication, and actively contribute to a culture of safety concerning patient care.
Licenses & Certifications : Registered Nurse license from the relevant state and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
Degrees : Completion of an accredited Nursing program is necessary.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities : Candidates should demonstrate holistic patient care capabilities and adaptability to clinical situations requiring varying interventions. Strong organizational, communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills are essential.
