Key responsibilities
As a Disability Support Worker in one of our services you will work with a team on and off-site of specialists with a common purpose – to create meaningful opportunities for people with disability to belong and thrive.
Key qualifications & requirements
Casual roles located in Hamilton.
Comfortable working with people with a range of disabilities.
Commitment to family and person-centred approaches, supporting inclusion and participation.
Ability to build and manage friendly relationships within a team environment.
Critical thinking, problem solving and decision-making skills.
Availability to work across multiple sites and a range of shift types, including early mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, sleepovers and active nights.
Experience and confidence working with clients who need support with behaviours of concern.
A driver's licence is required for this role.
To be successful in this role you must have or be willing to obtain :
Qualification requirement.
NDIS Worker Screening Check Clearance and Working with Children's Check (Employee).
Current Level 2 First Aid & CPR Certificate.
Valid Australian Working Rights and an International Police Check if you have lived or worked overseas for more than one year within the last ten years.
Remuneration and benefits
Salary benefits and conditions based on the Disability Services Enterprise Agreement Victoria
Salary Packaging (up to $15,900 per year tax free in addition to your standard tax-free threshold for salary).
