Job Summary

Definition

Under general supervision, the Family / Health Services Worker provides ongoing, consistent communications with Head Start / State Preschool families. The Family / Health Services Worker performs case management for Head Start / State Preschool families needing services (such as health, special needs, nutrition, social services, resources, parent involvement activities and communications, program management communications and mental health services) based on family strengths, concerns, needs and priorities. The Family / Health Services Worker recruits families to insure that families are recipients of services needed to ensure success of family goals. The Family / Health Services Worker assists families in the development of family goals as a member of the interdisciplinary family services team. The Family / Health Services Worker is a member of the interdisciplinary team that includes program management, teaching and program area staff. Evaluated by the program supervisor.

TESTING
