Material Handler (Stand up Forklift Operator)

Primary Responsibilities :

• Material Handler : Transportation of materials and products to designated locations using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment.
• Inventory Management : Assist in tracking and recording inventory levels; Perform regular inventory counts and update records as needed.
• Receiving and Inspecting : Receive incoming shipments, inspect products for damage or discrepancies, and make sure to complete proper paperwork.
• Storage and organization : Properly store materials in designated areas to optimize space and keep a warehouse organized.
• Shipping : Prepare materials and products for shipment, including packaging, labeling, and ensuring compliance with quality standards.
• Equipment Maintenance : Perform routine checks and basic maintenance on material handling equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Safety Compliance : Comply with all safety procedures and guidelines; wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and report any safety hazards.
• Team collaboration : Work closely with other team members and departments to coordinate material needs and address any issues that arise.
