Xylem is hiring a Sales Representative!

Job Summary :

The Sales Representative will be responsible for maximizing the financial performance of their territory by expanding the sales of Xylem's industry leading Flygt brand solutions and services. Utilizing strong technical and product knowledge, this team player will solve customers' fluid handling opportunities and increase company business through the development of Flygt pumping systems and solutions, and aftermarket sales and services in the North Central Texas (DFW) territory. The Sales Representative plays a critical role in promoting and selling water industry products and services to customers. This position involves identifying potential customers, conducting sales presentations, and negotiating contracts. The Sales Representative collaborates with cross functional teams to address customer needs, perform market analysis, and implement sales strategies. Additionally, this role involves maintaining strong customer relationships and providing excellent customer service. Strong sales skills, a thorough understanding of the water industry, and the ability to work independently are essential for success in this role.

  • Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or a related field or equivalent work experience that provides exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and concepts.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
  • Proficiency in sales tools and software (e.g., SalesForce, CRM systems).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross functional teams.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Knowledge of market research and competitive analysis techniques.
  • Salary :

    The estimated base salary range for this position is $85,000 to $100,000 plus sales incentives, as well as participation in a car program. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range.
