THIS POSITION WILL BE A DIRECT HIRE AS A FULL-TIME CITY OF PHILADELPHIA EMPLOYEE

This Service Order ( "SO”) is issued pursuant to Contract ( "Contract”) between the City of Philadelphia ( "City” or "CoP”) and Vendor . This Service Order shall automatically terminate upon the earlier of : the termination or expiration of the Contract as it may be extended through renewal terms; the specified End Date set forth below; OR when Services have been performed under the SO totaling the Maximum Budget of $, set forth below . Provider is responsible for tracking hours to ensure that the approved number is NOT exceeded. Total hours used and total hours remaining must be reported weekly. The City shall have no obligation to pay for Services under this SO in excess of the Maximum Budget, or for services performed after the termination or expiration of the Contract.

The City of Philadelphia intends to hire the Chief Digital Services Officer (CDSO) immediately as a full-time employee upon selection. Statement of Work :

The Office of Innovation and Technology (Client) is seeking a vendor to conduct an executive search for a dynamic, forward-thinking leader to guide the City of Philadelphia's next phase of digital transformation and modernization. This executive will serve as the City's Chief Digital Services Officer (CDSO) and will be responsible for shaping and executing both short-term and long-term technology strategies.

The CDSO will work in close partnership with the Chief Innovation Officer (CIO) and other senior leaders to develop actionable plans that drive innovation, enhance service delivery, and ensure Philadelphia remains a national leader in digital government.

The ideal candidate will possess a visionary mindset, strategic leadership skills, and a collaborative approach to help Client build on its current momentum, embrace emerging technologies, and continue improving the City's digital capabilities to better serve all Philadelphians.

Executive Search Responsibilities :

• Develop and execute a strategy for position advertisement and marketing.
• Identify, qualify, and assess potential candidates.
• Present qualified candidates to the City of Philadelphia's Office of Innovation and Technology Leadership Team.
• Act as the primary communication liaison between candidates and the Office of Innovation and Technology Leadership Team.
• Coordinate interview scheduling and related activities between candidates and the Leadership Team.
• Support the Leadership Team during the negotiation phase with the selected candidate.

Within days following the completion of Services and / or Deliverables required under this Service Order, the City shall issue its written statement of Acceptance of the Services and / or Deliverables, provided that the Services and / or Deliverables meet all performance standards and criteria set out in this Service Order or elsewhere in the Contract.
