We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Permanent Tax Manager to join our rapidly growing firm. This is a unique opportunity for a talented professional with a passion for tax accounting and compliance to contribute to our company's financial success. You will play a vital role in managing and controlling the company's tax strategy and compliance with all tax laws and regulations. This position requires a high level of expertise in tax accounting, a deep understanding of tax compliance, and a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities :

As a Permanent Tax Manager, your key responsibilities will include :

1. Overseeing all tax-related activities, including planning, compliance, and audit defense.

2. Developing and implementing tax strategies to minimize the company's tax liability and ensure compliance with all tax regulations.

3. Managing the preparation and review of all federal, state, and local tax returns.

4. Coordinating with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure accurate and timely tax reporting.

5. Providing expert advice on tax matters to senior management and other stakeholders.

6. Keeping abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure the company's ongoing compliance.

7. Identifying and mitigating tax risks and overseeing tax provision and reporting.

8. Assisting in the development and implementation of efficient processes and controls in relation to tax matters.

Qualifications :

The ideal candidate for the Permanent Tax Manager position should possess the following qualifications :

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or CPA certification is highly desirable.

2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in tax accounting and compliance, preferably in a managerial role.

3. In-depth knowledge of tax laws and regulations at the federal, state, and local levels.

4. Proven experience in managing tax audits and resolving tax disputes.

5. Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex tax legislation.

6. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex tax matters in an understandable manner.

7. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.

8. High level of integrity, with the ability to handle confidential information discreetly and professionally.

9. Proficiency in tax software and other relevant computer applications.

10. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
