Program Summary : WRAP is an intensive child-focused and family-centered approach driven by individualized needs to "wrap" services around a child, aged 3-18 years, at risk of losing their current placement or in order to return a child or youth from residential care to family setting. WRAP uses a collaborative team approach to bring a wide array of natural community supports and professional services to allow a family to build on their strengths. The team develops, facilitates and continually evaluates a comprehensive plan of services and resources. Children or youth place out of county or out of state are successfully reintegrated into a welcoming Sacramento home.

Job Responsibilities :

• To provide training and supervision of assigned staff and activities in support of the JJDTP program.
• Assesses staffs strengths and needs and provides and / or recommends training, professional growth opportunities.
• To supervise, coordinate, and participate in the agency wide delivery and supervise Youth and Family Advocates, Skills Trainers and the Housing & Benefits Specialist.
• To act as a liaison between assigned staff and other Agency / program management; and to function as a proactive and positive team leader.
• Provides practical suggestions and timely feedback to improve operations within their team, division and agency.
