Role Summary
As a Systems Engineer , you will design, implement, and optimize core IT infrastructure to support mission-critical operations. You will engineer solutions across servers, storage, OT systems, virtualization, and network environmentswhile ensuring performance, resilience, and security. This is a hands-on technical role with opportunities to influence architecture, mentor team members, and drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and manage complex IT systems including servers, storage, and network infrastructureManage and support OT-related systems to ensure maximum uptime and reliabilityMaintain and update system configuration and process documentationMonitor system performance and implement improvements for efficiency and reliabilityContribute to the development and deployment of new technologies and solutionsEnsure adherence to security and compliance standards across all systemsCollaborate with Systems Administrators to troubleshoot and resolve advanced technical issuesProvide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team membersParticipate in disaster recovery planning, testing, and executionConduct regular system audits and generate health / performance reportsWork with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure optimal system operationsRequired Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fieldRelevant certifications preferred (e.g., Microsoft Certified : Azure Administrator Associate AZ-104)3+ years of experience in IT systems administration and engineeringExperience with Windows and Linux operating systemsExperience with virtualization technologies such as Azure, Hyper-V, VMware, or Azure Local
