What You Need To Succeed As A Director, Employee Relations At XPO

Minimum qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Labor Relations, Management, Business or a related field, or equivalent related work or military experience
• 710 years of human resources and / or employee relations experience in both union and nonunion environments, specifically in advancing practices and policies designed to promote employee engagement and company values
• Demonstrated expertise in proactive labor relations, including union avoidance strategies, campaign planning and execution, and fostering positive employee engagement to mitigate organizing activity.
• Skilled in developing and implementing communication plans, training programs, and leadership coaching to support a union-free philosophy while maintaining compliance and trust
• Demonstrated experience in driving effective employee relations interventions, including consultation, issue resolution, and investigations
• Proven ability to communicate clearly and confidently across all organizational levels, including during time-sensitive or high-pressure situations
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 75% of the time. Sometimes on short notice
