About the Role

The Company is seeking an Academic Director for its Workforce Development site. The successful candidate will have both instructional and management responsibilities, including site supervision of nursing program activities, assisting the Regional Dean with special projects, and ensuring program compliance with regulatory standards. The role involves a wide range of tasks, from planning and developing the program to serving as a student advocate and maintaining program policies and procedures. The Academic Director will also be involved in faculty and staff management, overseeing the maintenance of necessary supplies and equipment, and participating in the admission process and nursing core orientation. Candidates for the Academic Director position must hold a valid and active Registered Nursing License and a master's or higher degree in a relevant field. A minimum of one year of teaching experience in nursing programs and one year of continuous experience as a registered nurse providing direct patient care are required. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated leadership skills, excellent communication, and a commitment to diversity. Proficiency in technology and the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders are essential. The role also requires the ability to lead diverse teams, experience in supervision, and a strong background in program maintenance, including budget preparation.
