The PE Structural Engineer will oversee the design and engineering of projects, ensuring effective collaboration across functional teams, and provide technical guidance to less experienced associates.
Key Responsibilities :
- The PE Structural Engineer will collaborate with sales, project management, and operations teams, as well as customers (contractors, architects, and engineers), to generate engineering packages, obtain approvals, and provide fabrication / construction details.
- May lead a small team of designers and engineers for specific projects.
- Design and draft precast concrete systems based on construction documents, including architectural and structural specifications. Some projects may require design based on conceptual information.
- The PE Structural Engineer will manage multiple projects simultaneously, using both internal and external resources as needed, with a focus on complex design tasks.
- Support sales efforts as directed by the Engineering Supervisor.
- Ensure field inspections are conducted, write Observation Reports, and track necessary field repairs.
Qualifications :
The PE Structural Engineer must hold a 4-year engineering degree. Masters degree in engineering preferred.Must have PE registration .Must have 6+ years of experience in the concrete / precast industry.Must have 2+ years in a supervisory role.The PE Structural Engineer must be able to work WITHOUT A VISA SPONSORSHIP.Benefits :
