Structural Engineer

The PE Structural Engineer will oversee the design and engineering of projects, ensuring effective collaboration across functional teams, and provide technical guidance to less experienced associates.

Key Responsibilities :

• The PE Structural Engineer will collaborate with sales, project management, and operations teams, as well as customers (contractors, architects, and engineers), to generate engineering packages, obtain approvals, and provide fabrication / construction details.
• May lead a small team of designers and engineers for specific projects.
• Design and draft precast concrete systems based on construction documents, including architectural and structural specifications. Some projects may require design based on conceptual information.
• The PE Structural Engineer will manage multiple projects simultaneously, using both internal and external resources as needed, with a focus on complex design tasks.
• Support sales efforts as directed by the Engineering Supervisor.
• Ensure field inspections are conducted, write Observation Reports, and track necessary field repairs.
