Overview

TRC is seeking an Environmental Engineer, Geologist, or Environmental Scientist to join our growing Engineering and Remediation Practice in Birmingham, Alabama or Atlanta, Georgia. This position would be part of a skilled team that works closely with Project Managers and other technical leads performing due diligence, construction / remediation oversight, process, industrial compliance and other environmental engineering activities, including field inspections and sampling. We are looking for an enthusiastic, flexible, and personable individual with an eye for detail, a willingness to learn, and a desire to be part of a growing and high performing team.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of field work including environmental assessments, investigations, site inspections, sampling, and subcontractor oversight;
• Scheduling and oversight of utility locating, geophysics, excavation, driller, and construction subcontractors;
• Geologic and hydrogeologic interpretation from soil borings, excavations, trenches, and monitor wells;
• Data analysis and report preparation support;
• Engineering design and calculations;
• Preparation of permit applications and compliance plans (., SWPPP, SPCC, etc);
• Assist with proposal development, including preparation of work scopes and budgets; and
• Work in a team setting with project managers and other team personnel.

Compensation : In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.

Other Compensation :  Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company’s annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.

Salary Range

USD $49,920.00 - USD $73,466.00 / Yr.
