Half Time! 16-24 hours a week; 8am-4 : 30pm

Job Duties :

Manage the documentation and Quality of Life needs of assigned residents.

Participate in the management of clients’ needs at the Redies Center

Lead or assist with groups of Long-Term clients.

Manage time / assignments effectively.

Pushing / pulling loads up to 50 pounds

Transporting residents to and from activities.

Comfortable facilitating activities

Requirements and Qualifications

Job Requirements :

High school diploma or equivalent

Enjoys working with the senior population

Good fine motor skills

6+ months experience in a life enrichment department / skilled nursing or senior living setting

Creative mind that enjoys coming up with new ideas and fun ways to engage with our residents

Preferred Qualifications :

Ability to play an instrument or sing is a plus!

Experience working as a camp counselor facilitating activities is a plus!

Currently enrolled in a Therapeutic Recreation program, Gerontology program, or has completed Mepap 1 for NCCAP is a plus!
