Mechanical Product Project Manager
Manages and oversees all aspects of assigned mechanical product projects to ensure timely and budget-conscious delivery. Responsibilities include managing scope, cost, schedule, internal staffing, outside vendors, and contractual deliverables. The role requires close collaboration with supply chain teams and site personnel to ensure successful product delivery and customer satisfaction. This position contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project and requires independent and collaborative work. It is primarily focused on coverage for team members on medical leave and may involve managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead mechanical product projects from initiation through completion.
- Manage scope, cost, schedule, and customer expectations.
- Coordinate with supply chain and site teams for product delivery.
- Prepare and present project status reports to upper management.
- Utilize project management tools (training provided if needed).
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and internal processes.
- Participate in candidate selection and onboarding if needed.
Preferred Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.24 years of related project management experience.PMP (Project Management Professional) certification preferred.Experience with project management tools is a plus.Strong communication and organizational skills.Familiarity with Microsoft Teams for virtual collaboration.Experience with FAR Part 15 contracting and TINA-compliant proposals.Experience with SAP.Experience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS).Requirements :
