Job Description

Under general supervision, prepare, sterilize, store and issue medical / surgical instruments, supplies and equipment in accordance with departmental and hospital policies and procedures. Performs and / or assists with decontamination and distribution of medical / surgical supplies, instruments and equipment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.
• Completion of an approved Central Sterile Tech Program within 6 months of hire date is required.
• Two years of experience in Central Sterile Processing is required.
