Executive Underwriter OR AVP, Underwriting Director- Large Casualty

Overview

Zurich is currently looking for an experienced Executive Underwriter OR AVP, Underwriting Director- Large Casualty for our team in the East Region to focus on Domestic Casualty business. We are hiring this new team member for our Philadelphia office.

Responsibilities

• Underwriting, analyzing, and generating new and renewal business
• Market facing and production within the Large Casualty, National Accounts division
• Administering and monitoring underwriting rules and guidelines, insurance laws and regulations and rating manual rules
• Developing and maintaining agency and broker relationships in the Mid-Atlantic Region
• Working within broad limits and authorities on highly complex assignments

Compensation

At Zurich, compensation for roles is influenced by a variety of factors, including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. Additional rewards may include short-term incentive bonuses and merit increases. Salary expectations should reflect experience, skills, and education.

The combined salary range for this position is $78,100.00 - $169,100.00. The proposed salary range for the Executive Underwriter is $78,100.00 - $127,800.00, with short-term incentive bonus eligibility set at 10%. The proposed salary range for the AVP, Underwriting Director is $103,300.00 - $169,100.00, with short-term incentive bonus eligibility set at 15%.
