Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist with ARRT certification, BLS, and neuro / peripheral IR experience for a hospital-based position.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Position is based in a hospital interventional radiology department with inpatient and outpatient caseloads
  • Features 4 angiography suites (2 single-plane, 2 biplane), 1 dedicated CT scanner, and 1 multipurpose fluoroscopy suite for pain management
  • Handles patients requiring vascular, neuro, and oncologic interventions
  • Advanced imaging technology and equipment are utilized
  • Epic EMR experience is required
  • Four 10-hour day shifts weekly, Monday through Friday, 7 : 30 AM to 6 : 00 PM, with one rotating day off
  • Possible weekend coverage may be needed
  • Call is required, including one primary call per week and one primary call weekend per month with a 30-minute callback time
  • Holiday coverage or call is required for at least one holiday per 13-week contract
  • Responsibilities include performing minimally invasive vascular, neuro, and oncologic procedures using advanced imaging guidance
  • Role may involve both inpatient and outpatient procedures
  • Work in a team-oriented, Level I Trauma Center environment
  • Must be able to submit all RTO requests with initial application
  • Must work as part of a rotation for holiday coverage alongside permanent staff

  • Current ARRT (R) required; CV or VI credentials accepted, with VI preferred
  • Current BLS certification from the AHA is required
  • Experience with neuro and peripheral vascular interventions is required
  • Epic EMR experience is required
  • Virginia state license preferred; any active state license (in hand or pending) accepted; emergency authorization possible for those awaiting VA licensure
  • License required if applicable
