Job Description & Requirements Chicago, IL - Community Pathologist StartDate : ASAP Pay Rate : $350000.00 - $450000.00 Join a thriving pathology practice within a major not-for-profit academic healthcare system. The incoming Pathologist will have a balanced mix of anatomic and clinical cases, with opportunities for specialization. Collaborate with three experienced pathologists and skilled support staff in a well-established shared practice environment. Opportunity Highlights Enjoy a dynamic mix of anatomic and clinical pathology, including surgical pathology, cytopathology, and frozen sections. Balanced caseload with an average of 20-25 cases per day. Level loading all cases within a group productivity model. Participate in tumor boards and collaborate with multiple specialties across the network. Flexible schedule : MondayFriday, 7 : 45 AM4 : 30 PM, with light call expectations (1 week per month, minimal come-in rate). Support for sub-specialization in breast pathology, if desired. Work with state-of-the-art technology, including digital pathology implementation in progress. No autopsy caseshandled at a separate downtown location. Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary : $350,000$365,000 , with a total compensation package of up to $450,000 (includes shared productivity model).
